Terry`s Place in Ocala

The wings are fantastic. Normally I'd give it lower due to my past experiences with their food. I'll be trying a few more dishes as I work around the corner. If their other dishes stepped up like the wings did then that's fantastic.

Food was superior, and lots of it for the money. Food was delicious. Prices were awesome. Be ready to take home left overs. Friendly and efficient staff. I recommend this place. I will return.

Throughout the years I have enjoyed many dinners here. I also enjoy the fish sandwiches as well as the all you can eat fish specials that they offer. They often have a special event going on like trivia night. Even though the place is usually pretty busy it's still comfortable to come here and enjoy a good dinner. If you're in the neighborhood I would definitely recommend this place for good meal or simply to stop by the bar and have a few drinks with the locals. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and the prices are not bad either!

This place was great. Recommend going to. Our party had 4 different meals. All were very tasty and hot.

Great local place, went on a whim with out of town guests and glad that we did. Huge portions, had the fried fish, 2 huge pieces too much to eat, brought more than 1/2 home. Staff very friendly and there are many screens to watch sports. They also have a bar. Local atmosphere, will go back!

WOW! This place is a great secret in Ocala! The service was great even though they were packed! Food was delicious and oh my gosh the portions are ridiculous my large! We have found our new favorite place!! Just check out the size of that burger after it was cut in half!!! My chicken breast well...... There are 3 of them!!! And the steak ------ yummy

Had the fish dinner pretty good. Fish could have been golden brown, under cooked a tad. Server, Chrystal, my server rocks! Nice happy girl.

Just recently moved to Florida from Alabama ! Terry's Place was recommended by a friend, food is great waitresses are awesome thank you guys for your hospitality and great food 👍

Wow! The chef salad will give me about 4 extra meals! It was massive. There must have been a pound of meat in it! Very tasty. Server was very efficient and kind.

Our steak bits salad was almost 100% like the chicken wings were except for lack of shredded cheese. Our waitress Kelly was awesome!!

Good food but the service is very slow. Waited a long time to get our food. Been there a few times and the service has been an issue.

My husband and I shared a whole sub sandwich, it was delicious and HUGE! The French fries were crispy and good. Enjoyed our meal and plan to go back for another visit.

Great place for a fried fish meal that is more than filling. All the food we have ever gotten was good. This is truly casual dining at Its best.

Went tonight and had 2 terrific meals and left happy and full. Thanks to Kelly we were catered to and happy to leave our money there. Great service good food fun atmosphere

Came in for lunch on a Friday and sat at the bar. Bar tender was super friendly and quick. Knocked off one star because the printer for orders wasn’t working and the bartender came out 10 minutes after we ordered and said our order just got put in. She was very friendly and apologetic. Overall a great experience. Food was good and drinks were cold.

Food was great,service was good. I definitely will go back again. I had a burger my friend had a sub both were too much to eat. If you like a lot of food this is the place to go.

The waitress are nice and the chicken tendies and fried mushrooms are the best

Very casual restaurant with very good food and very large portions. If you leave there hungry it's your own fault.

As I walk in, me and my mother notice that the place is very dark. We ordered the Monday special Cheeseburger and fries. The waitress took notes of how wanted it cooked. After waiting 45 minutes, the same waitress ask “What did y’all order again?” This is Bad customer service and I never waited so long for something so simply. I payed for the drinks and left unhappy, I will not come back, Thanks.

Food and service were terrific. Terry's can definitely be described as a local's place. Been around for very long time. Portions are huge. Most sandwiches are shareable, you can add a basket of onion rings or fries...key word ...Basket (Share!). It is a full service bar (sports bar) that serves Great food. Football season is packed. Lots of TVs and a couple pool tables. The only thing holding it back is the building and decor have been overdue for Remodel and Updating. So Overall 4+... Todays Food and Service 5+! Great Job Pam (our server) and Lyndsey (bartender who had just started back couple days ago)!ENJOY!!

Fantastic mushroom and Swiss burger! Juic, hot and those fresh made buns are incredible! Good service! Not fast food but well worth the reasonable wait for good lunch. Enjoyable, and still out the door in 45 minutes.

Wonderful food, great waitresses, good prices. Huge portion taking home 3 to go boxes after eating til we were full. Love to come out here for wonderful food.

My new restaurant to go to when I want delicious food

Dinner at Terry's was most enjoyable. Waitress was awesome and very attentive. Food was outstanding, as usual, and affordable. With it raining, the A/C was a bit cold, but otherwise everyone had a great time.

Food is great . Prices are very reasonable and large portions. Only complaint is they refuse to turn the tv channels. Two occasions left and went elsewhere to watch Nascar and a NFL games.So long story short I go elsewhere to watch sports.

Their food is delicious AND one sandwich makes 2 or more meals. 2 could share a plate and get full. Beer is very cold. Ambience is good.One thing more ... Bring a sweater because baby it's cool inside!

Well worth the ride from Lady Lake. Great tasting food. With large portions that were reasonably priced. Plenty of cold beer and quick attentive wait staff. "I shall return."

Definately a unique, local treasure. No other place like it. Plentiful portions and friendly staff. Food tastes good, especially for bar style. A definate must stop in at least once.

This restaurant is my favorite. I go to many restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very amicable and the food they serve is so good. I never decline to have a decent meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite places for cold beer and delicious food. Plenty of TVs and great, attentive service. I have NEVER had any bad here. Not expensive at all and the portions are generous. Try the “Belly Buster” or the Philly, or the cordon blu sandwich... make sure you're hungry! Theres a reason this place has been around so long.

Had relatively good experiences here in the recent past. Not today. Incredibly slow service (what are you going to do when it gets busy this evening?) So, you take a wonderfully prepared burger with a heavenly bun, and then you throw scraps of tomato on it, forget all about the mayo, and finish it off with shreds of onions including the stem and skin. I wanted to barf. I want a nice slice of tomato and onion on my burger. Sampler platter: We’ve had much better. Just one big thing of fried grease. It could have been anything in there. So disappointed. Horrifying, actually. Won’t be back for a LONG time, if at all.

I've been going here ever since I was knee-high and the prices have only gone up about a dollar since then. This has always been one of my favorite places to eat because it boasts three things I love: cheap food, huge portions, and great taste. Service can be iffy and I'll get a bad service day about 1 out of every 5 times i go. But i go a lot, so that's fine. I recommend this place to every one.

Great drinks at a great price! I had the Hot Wings and my wife had a Burger. Both were excellent. The service was quick, and my drink was never empty. We will definitely be back!!

This site is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I I need a delicious lunchon, this place comes immediately to my mind. excellent and many types of food and a large list of dishes.well mannered crew, and agreeable spirit. And very important, the charge is modest. I tell about this spot with great pleasure.

Great food, ice cold beer and friendly servers.

I had steak tips and sweet potato. Steak tips were ok, couple pieces I couldn't chew. Sweet potato, very dry is delivered with margarine. I asked for real butter and got a chuckle out of the waitress. She said no way would they have real butter. Would be nice if they offered a 6 oz steak.
